This painting is from a (Children of Deaf Adults) CODA's experience. A hearing person coming from Deaf parents, is in between two worlds, Deaf world and Hearing world. The person feels like a river between the two. The left side with red background is the Deaf world. The right side with black background shows the Hearing world with ears listening to music and mouth talking and singing. The river is the CODA person.
